📸 What You'll Do
- Perform a variety of technical radiographic procedures under the direction of the Urgent Care Practice Manager.
- Adapt care to the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Work 2 shifts per week, with every other weekend availability required.
- Cross-train with front desk and Medical Assistants to support patient flow.
- Perform radiographic exams with a sound understanding of equipment, anatomical positioning, and technical factors.
- Transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for physician review.
- Perform required quality control procedures and ensure equipment is performing as expected.
- Report unit issues to the Manager of Medical Imaging.
- Provide coverage for the department as required, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Completion of formal training in an AMA-approved accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
- Current license to work in the State of Rhode Island.
- Current ARRT certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
- One-year experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
